In the beginning of 2000 the Rockwool Group acquired its factory in Melaka, Malaysia. Since then, our organisation here, known as Roxul Asia, has come a long way and together with continuous investments in technology and processes we are proud to state, that our factory produces and supplies among the very best stone wool insulation solutions in Asia.
Roxul Asia is responsible for the Asian region with 2 offices in Malaysia, an office in Singapore and Shanghai and a representation in Taiwan. To get in touch with us see under contacts.
The natural characteristics of Roxul stone wool provide a combination of advantages; energy saving, which reduces heating/cooling bills, it is fire safe which protects buildings/people and it offers acoustic improvements to reduce noise nuisance.
Customer Service
Our Customer Service Department plays a very significant role to the success of Roxul Asia.
The department’s main tasks are:
- Monitoring of the service level
- Handling deliveries / shipments
- In charge of outgoing quotations
- Planning quantity of products and schedule for Production Department based on customers’ order requirements
- Handling off customers complaints

Roxul Asia is ISO Certified
In May 2004, Roxul Asia Sdn. Bhd. was awarded the prestigious ISO 9001-2000 standard certificate, as evidence for Roxul Asia’s efforts to implement a quality management system.
The certificate verifies that customer requirements are being met by measuring and monitoring the products during appropriate phases of their development. This includes inspecting and testing the products.
