2006-06-06: Rockwool Ltd. wins prestigious environmental award 
Rockwool Ltd. has won one of the UK’s most prestigious business awards: a ‘Big Tick’ in the EDF Environmental Impact category of the Welsh Business in the Community Awards for Excellence.   Read more

2005-07-01: Rockwool Ltd. receives special environmental award 
On 30 June 2005, Rockwool Ltd, the Rockwool Group's UK company, was awarded "The Arena Network 10th Anniversary Award for Sustained Environmental Best Practices" at the Wales Environmental Awards. Read more

2005-06-10: Roxul Inc. receives Canadian environmental award 
On 1 June, the Rockwool Group's North American subsidiary, Roxul Inc., received top honours at the 2005 Pollution Prevention Awards, sponsored by the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME).  Read more

2003-12-09: Rockwool Polska won "Polish Leader of Ecology" again!
For the first time in history the same company has won the prestigious Polish ecology award twice. On 9 December 2003 a proud managing director, Nick Vince, could shake hands with the Polish minister of the Environment and on behalf of Rockwool Polska receive the "Polish Leader of Ecology" award for the second time. 2001-12-07: Leader of Polish Ecology
After multimillion investments in green technology and environmental management systems, Rockwool Polska is in the avant-garde of environmentally sound production. On 7 December 2001, a satisfied Minister of the Environment, Mr. Stanislaw Zelichowski, was able to award Rockwool Polska "Leader of Polish Ecology" in the category "Best Company".  Read more

2001-10-09: Wales Environment Award 2001
At the prestigious Wales Environment Awards 2001 Rockwool Limited scooped 'The Team Award‘. "It was a fantastic moment", says Janet Boast, Quality and Environmental Assurance Manager, "because the build up was a bit like the Oscars. We knew we were finalists from about 2 weeks before, but we had to wait until the evening event to learn that we had won!" Read more
