Product Description
Roxul Acoustical Fire Slab is specially designed for acoustic and fire safe applications in buildings. It comes in a number of thicknesses to meet the requirements of both retrofit and new construction applications. When faced with glass tissue (black or white), it can be used for noise control in work areas.
Applications
Roxul AFS's combination of acoustical, fire and thermal performance makes it the ideal product to be used in partition walls, suspended ceilings, roofs, curtain walls and other construction where no load-bearing insulation slabs are required.
Advantages
- has excellent acoustical dampening properties;
- when subject to noise absorption test in accordance to BS EN 20354, it shows sound absorption up to NRC 1.0;
- self supporting and will not slump or sag during the lifetime of the partition, ceiling or roof structure;
