Energy makes the world go around. Without energy, everything stops. The safe supply of cheap fuel determines the prosperity of billions of people. At the same time, the main energy production in the world depends on fossil fuels, which are non-renewable resources. They take millions of years to form and reserves are being depleted much faster than new ones are being formed.
